Campaign: My Perfect Summer | Client: Springfield
1966's perfect wave
50 years ago, two surfers traveled around the globe searching for the Perfect Wave. Film director Bruce Brown followed them during their journey with his analog camera.
This is the story behind The Endless Summer, the cult documentary that made surfing a really cool thing to do since the Sixties.

Today's perfect waves
Springfield is an urban casual fashion brand. They think that you don't need to travel around the world to find a perfect wave; you can find lots of them in everything you do. In your own city, with your friends, anytime and anywhere.
To present Springfield's summer collection, spanish well-known actors Mario Casas & Úrsula Corberó share seven perfect moments of their summers. Seven perfect waves that you can join every day to live a summer that never ends.
A story. Two points of view.
Two fashion films, one for each character, show us the 7 waves that make their summers perfect. They share the same story, but each of them tell it to us in a different way, complementing each other.

Mix them as you like
In the site you could play the two movies simultaneously and switch between them to discover both sides of the story.
Social Content
We also created extended versions of our 14 perfect waves to increase conversation in the brand's social channels. These videos included additional scenes and voice statements from our celebrities.
Conversation about the campaign grew specially on Instagram, the place where the brand followers are more active. Lots of images and videos behind the scenes increased the engagement of the audience.

Connecting media
In 1966, Bruce Brown took an analog camera to document their trip. Today's youth prefer to document their search for perfect waves through social networks.
For each campaign video and print ad we uploaded a behind-the-scenes moment on Instagram, where you could comment, like and interact with the content.
